How to manage and delete your data associated with GigLume.
At GigLume, we respect your privacy and provide you with control over your personal data. Below are instructions on how you can manage data linked to your account, including social media profiles like Instagram, and how to request deletion of your entire account.
Removing Your Linked Social Media Profiles (e.g., Instagram)
You have direct control over the social media profiles linked to your GigLume account. To remove your Instagram profile link (or any other social media link):
- Log in to your GigLume account.
- Navigate to your Profile page (usually found in the main navigation after logging in).
- Within your profile, find and select the section for Social Networks or "Linked Accounts".
- You will see input fields for your various social media profiles. Edit or clear the input field for your Instagram profile URL (or other social links you wish to remove).
- Save the changes.
Once you remove the link and save, GigLume will no longer store or display that specific social media profile URL. This action effectively deletes GigLume's stored link to your Instagram profile.
Requesting Full Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your entire GigLume account and all associated data (including personal information, portfolio items, all social media links, gig history, and any other data we store about you), you can initiate this process.
To request account deletion:
- Primary Method: Navigate to the Manage Account page within your profile settings. Look for an option like "Deactivate Account" or "Delete Account". Follow the prompts provided. We are working to ensure this process is comprehensive for full data deletion.
- Alternative Method: If you cannot find the option or wish to ensure full deletion, please contact our support team directly via email at support@giglume.example.com with the subject line "Account Data Deletion Request". In your email, please include the phone number associated with your GigLume account to help us identify your account.
Upon receiving your request, we will process the deletion of your data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable regulations. Please note that this process is irreversible and may take some time to complete fully across all our systems. We will confirm once the deletion process has been initiated or completed.
